Admin → Performance measured "how late mail arrives" from the date a message carries, which is the sender's clock. A newsletter dated half an hour before it was sent, or mail held back by greylisting, was reported as plMail being that late. The delay is now taken from the newest Received: header. Each message is stamped as it is first stored with when the provider accepted it, what started the sync that fetched it (push, IDLE, schedule, sync button) and where it was filed. Inbox mail and the rest are counted apart, since providers only announce the inbox, and the slowest messages of the period are listed in a section that starts collapsed. An upgrade task gives the last week of mail its accept time from the stored headers. What fetched older mail cannot be recovered and shows as a dash.
